"Betrayed: How the New Right Leaders Endangered Freedom"
(An updated Video report of "Betrayed: How the New Right
Helped Pass the Hate Bill" by Ted Pike.) By the grace of
God on December 6, 2007 the Hate Bill was defeated in the
Senate (after being passed in September 2007). In this film
Ted Pike, Director of the National Prayer Network, exposes the
great dereliction of duty on the part of many New Right Leaders
back in September '07; how they did wrong to the many Christians
in America who depended on them to lead the fight against evil
legislation; and how many of them finally redeemed themselves
in December '07 by sounding the alarm and defeating the Hate Bill.
So called "anti-hate" laws are truthfully "anti-free speech/anti-Christian"
laws, designed to END free speech and silence the gospel. They have done so
in Canada, Australia and much of Europe. Back on September 27, 2007, the U.S.
Senate finally passed a Federal "anti-Hate" Bill after a decade of resistance
by the National Prayer Network. Since January the New Right joined the fight
and fought this legislation all year until July, yet when it came up before the
Senate in the final weeks of September they went silent. Finally when the Hate
Bill came back to the Senate, having been approved by Conference, many New Right
leaders sprung to action after being alerted by NPN's Rev. Pike. They were able
to flood the Senate with calls of opposition and defeat the hate bill. With the
continued threat of new Hate Bills being reintroduced, America's future is at stake.
Free Speech is under attack. New Right Leaders, both religious and political, need
to be more proactive in the fight against the increasing threat of hate crimes legislation
